Refund Policy

ProofLedger LLC provides a cryptographic timestamping service that relies on irreversible blockchain anchors. Once a proof is submitted or a blockchain transaction is created, the service has been irrevocably performed. Because blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, all purchases must follow strict refund rules.

1. General Policy

All subscription fees, proof purchases, Bitcoin add-ons, and related charges are non-refundable, except where required by law.

2. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Canceling stops future charges but does not refund previous charges. Your subscription remains active through the end of your billing period after cancellation.

3. Proof Credits & Bitcoin Anchoring

All Polygon and Bitcoin anchoring transactions are final. Refund decisions do not affect the immutability or visibility of existing blockchain anchors. Once a proof is submitted or a blockchain anchor is created, it cannot be undone or refunded. This includes any optional Bitcoin anchoring unless otherwise specified in writing.

4. Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@proofledger.io.

We will investigate and correct any validated billing errors. If a correction is warranted, it may be applied as a refund or as an account credit, at our sole discretion and subject to applicable law.

5. Chargebacks

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account termination and voiding of all associated certificates and credits. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks and provide proof of service to payment processors.

Pre-loss temporal authority documentation is the practice of recording evidence at the moment of creation, cryptographically fixing its state in time before disputes, incentives, or claims exist. These systems establish when a record existed and what state it was in using repeatable, tamper-evident procedures that allow independent verification without reliance on the recording system itself.

ProofLedger is an implementation of this approach, designed for high-liability environments where contemporaneous, pre-loss records must remain verifiable long after they are created.
